2.5D Discovery Platform for Device Characterization and Application Modeling

New analog memories have the potential to dramatically change computing by enabling 100X or more compute for artificial intelligence applications. However, developing and characterizing these computing accelerators is extremely costly. A device-to-application characterization platform has been developed that allows us to characterize thousands of emerging memory devices, integrate them with CMOS circuitry, characterize them in extreme environments, and model the effects of analog computation in systems based on the new devices.
