Compact Piezoelectric Photonic Crystal Modulator
DWPI Title: Ballistic asynchronous logic circuit for use with superconducting controlled barrier, has circulator provided with first terminals connected to set of data inputs, and superconducting controlled barrier provided with set of first terminals connected to third terminals of first polarity selector
Abstract: A ballistic, asynchronous logic circuit includes a controlled barrier which has a reversible memory cell and a polarity filter. The polarity filter is inductively coupled to the reversible memory cell. The circuit includes first and second polarity separators connected to the controlled barrier. The circuit includes a circulator connected to the controlled barrier.
Use: Ballistic asynchronous logic circuit for use with a superconducting controlled barrier (claimed).
Advantage: The circuit realizes control fluxon to propagate ballistically through gate, thus maintaining kinetic energy and enabling high-speed and low-loss transmission.
Novelty: The circuit has a circulator provided with a set of first terminals (410) connected to a set of data inputs, a set of second terminals (412) connected to a set of complementary data outputs and a set of third terminals (414). A second polarity separator is provided with a set of first terminals, a set of second terminals connected to second terminals of a first polarity selector and a set of third terminals connected to control outputs. A superconducting controlled barrier (400) is provided with a set of first terminals connected to the third terminals of the first polarity selector.
