System and method for electronic devices

DWPI Title: New engineered organism comprising an engineered host derived from a Basidiomycete organism, used in fermentation broth composition for producing xylose-derived product (such as xylonic acid, xylonate, or a combination)
Abstract: The invention includes systems and methods pertaining to Josephson effect devices. This includes electronic devices such as transistors known as Josephson Junction Field Effect Transistors (JJFETs). An electronic device is provided that has a source region including a superconductor material, a drain region including a superconductor material, a gate region between the source and drain regions, and a semiconductor region including an excitonic insulator material.
Use: Engineered organism used in fermentation broth composition for producing xylose-derived product (such as xylonic acid, xylonate, or a combination).
Advantage: The method yields 80% to 99% by weight of theoretical yield of xylonic acid, xylonate, or a combination.
Novelty: Engineered organism is new, where engineered organism comprises an engineered host derived from a Basidiomycete organism having a gene having 95% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 1 in its genome, and the engineered host comprises gene having 95% or greater sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 1 deleted from its genome, and XylB and XylC are expressed in the engineered host.
