| Advantage: The adapter enables quick instrumentation transition from a system response test configuration to a background/environment noise characterization test configuration as background characterization is different than the usual noise characterization measurement, where the test environment is not active, which results in a data acquisition limit. The adapter reduces transition time between configurations by a factor of approximately 10 compared to other methods to reduce test time and associated costs, so that test configuration transition is simple using the adapter. The adapter is simple in structure and adapts quick implementation to promote use at test facilities, where background characterization due to execution difficulty and test schedule constraints. |
