Abstract: A method and apparatus for displaying a three-dimensional radiograph in a
security scanner. A first X-ray image of an object is generated by the
security scanner from a first viewpoint. A second X-ray image of the
object is generated by the security scanner from a second viewpoint. The
first X-ray image and the second X-ray image form a stereogram. The
stereogram is displayed by the security scanner on a display system for
the security scanner such that a first eye of a viewer sees the first
X-ray image in the stereogram and a second eye of the viewer sees the
second X-ray image in the stereogram. A parallax between the first
viewpoint and the second viewpoint in the stereogram results in a
three-dimensional visualization of the object on the display system for
the security scanner. |
